Data Requests

Caloza uses a pseudonymous service account. This page explains how to request an export, correction, or deletion and how server data differs from local and private iCloud meals.

Never email a secret

Caloza support will not ask you to email a bearer token, private key, Apple password, or payment-card number. Verification uses non-secret context and, when needed, a separate safe step.

1. What the service account contains

Caloza does not ask you to create a name-and-password login. Its server instead creates a pseudonymous account linked to a random app-account token. The server can hold:

  • pseudonymous account and installation identifiers;
  • installation sessions and opaque credential records;
  • subscription entitlement and Apple-signed transaction details;
  • short-lived AI request, response, and idempotency records;
  • monthly request, token, and cost totals; and
  • normalized App Store notification and security/audit information.

Raw meal photos and prompts are not stored by the Caloza server. Meal history and photos stored on your iPhone or in your private iCloud container are separate from this server account.

2. Request an export

Email admin@jtcapps.com with the subject “Caloza data export request.” After safely verifying the pseudonymous account, support can generate the authenticated server export.

The export includes normalized account, installation, entitlement, retained AI-response, usage, and App Store notification information associated with the server account. It excludes access tokens, token and IP digests, raw signed Apple audit payloads, provider credentials, and local or private iCloud meal history.

3. Request server-account deletion

Email admin@jtcapps.com with the subject “Caloza service account deletion request.” After safe verification, support can submit the authenticated deletion.

Deletion revokes installation sessions and removes transient AI records, account-linked usage, credentials, and derived rate-limit buckets. Certain signed purchase, deletion, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or financial audit records may be retained only as needed for the applicable purpose or legal obligation. Global cost aggregates that no longer identify the account may remain.

Apple billing continues unless you cancel it. Deleting the Caloza service account does not cancel a subscription or stop billing. First review Apple Subscriptions. You may still request deletion without canceling, but a transaction linked to the deleted account cannot later restore that deleted account’s access.

4. Local and private iCloud data

Server-account deletion does not erase meal photos, meal history, profile settings, CSV exports, or other information stored on your iPhone or in your private iCloud container. Delete individual meals in Caloza. You can manage Caloza documents through Apple’s Files and iCloud storage controls, and you can remove the app’s local data by deleting the app as described by Apple.

Back up anything you want to keep before removing local or iCloud content. Those actions can be permanent.

5. Access, correction, objection, and other rights

For an access, correction, portability, restriction, objection, consent-withdrawal, or other privacy request, email admin@jtcapps.com. Available rights depend on the law where you live.

We usually acknowledge a request within three business days and complete a verified request within the period required by applicable law. If we cannot fulfill part of a request, we will explain the reason when the law allows.
